Our Mission
The mission of Living is Giving is to provide resources in the form of finances, food, training, education, and other opportunities, to help the people of Liberia lift themselves out of poverty and build a better life.
Our Agricultural Project
Living is Giving currently operates a small farm near Careysburg, Liberia, located about 20 miles from the capital city, Monrovia. This farm started with one small plot in 2022 and with the help of God and many generous givers, has been expanded several times. The land is fertile and has not previously been farmed. Using the conservation-based agricultural philosophy known as "Farming God's Way", crops such as cassava, okra, carrots, plantains, cucumbers, beans, and palm for oil are being grown there, completely by hand labor. The produce is benefitting families and individuals who struggle with food insecurity. Many children of these families are prevented from attending school because they have to work to help their families put food on the table. A child cannot learn on an empty stomach.
Our Organization
Living is Giving Inc. was incorporated as a charitable organization in the state of North Dakota in 2022. It is tax exempt under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. LIG is registered with the government of Liberia as an international non-governmental organization (NGO).
